Welcome to Aperture Artistry by Mirlen.

 

I created this business from a dream that has lived in me for years. The dream of turning my love for storytelling, creativity, and human connection into something lasting. Photography is more than a passion project to me; it’s the legacy I hope to build, one image, one story, and one connection at a time.

 

As a first-generation Mexican American and graduate of Morehead State University, my journey into the arts began when I fell in love with photography during a high school course. That spark led me to study theatre and communications, where I developed a deep understanding of storytelling through stage design, lighting, costume creation, directing, producing, and visual composition. Those experiences shaped the way I see the world — cinematically, intentionally, and with emotion at the center of every frame.

 

Today, while I continue building my career in corporate America, I’m also building the dream I know I’m meant to bring to life. Every client who trusts me with their memories is helping me turn this vision into reality, and for that, I’m deeply grateful. Your support allows me to keep creating, to keep growing, and to continue pursuing the work that makes me feel most alive.

Aperture Artistry is my way of ensuring my creative spirit never fades; a space where my love for the arts can continue to grow and where I can share that passion with others.
